Find a Life of Fulfillment & Satisfaction

How often do you question what’s your purpose in your life and what is your mission? What are the reasons for God creating YOU? These are valid questions and the thought of having a purpose provides you with great pleasure. Imagine feeling lost and not understanding your purpose…what would you experience? Without gaining a perspective of your purpose, it is likely to send you through a rabbit hole and maybe even experience episodes of depression. What is your mission? If you were to ask this question randomly, many people are likely to respond in this way “To be happy”. We all have a definition of what would make us happy: some may think it’s when you earn a degree and land your dream job, others may think when they spend time with family, or buy a house, or a new car. The list goes on and on. When you take the time to think about it, I believe you will conclude that happiness is temporal which means that you may be seeking something deeper. Here are ways to find a life of fulfillment:

1. Discover your authentic self

Life your life according to your desires with Our Lord Jesus Christ. Spend time to realize what makes you overflow with Joy instead of happiness. Find your strength and allow others to see you for who you really are. “He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength” Isaiah 40:29

2. Live in the moment

Become aware that every materialistic thing eventually fades away or disappears. This moment that you are reading this blog will never come back, so open your hearts to these words which will bring you fulfillment.

3. Purify your mind

Clear your mind of all impurities such as self-criticism, excessive worrying, and intrusive thoughts. You can purify your thoughts through meditation, self-soothing and relaxing techniques, walk in nature, enjoy animals and play with children.

4. Take chances

Do not allow your fears to debilitate or paralyze you from following your instincts. Follow your calling through prayer and service within your community.

5. Be responsible

Make good choices according to God’s will, not your will. When you lean into a certain path and find obstacles or challenges that are getting in the way, recognize that this is God telling you it’s probably not the best direction for you. Take control of your choices and ask God for guidance.

6. Love

God is Love…His examples in the Bible have shown us that with His love, everything is possible. In Matthew 22:39 it says, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself”. Love begins with learning how to self-love and build establish healthy relationships.

These are the keys to living a life full of fulfillment and satisfaction.
