  • Are you doing in-office sessions and/or virtual sessions?
    We provide both in-office and virtual sessions throughout the state of California.
  • Do you accept insurance?
    Nurturing Connections Counseling is an Out of Network provider. Many insurance providers such as Blue Cross/Blue Shield, United Health Care, or Aetna have out-of-network benefits and may possibly reimburse for psychotherapy services. Please contact your member’s services number on the back of your insurance card and inquire about your out-of-network mental health benefits and they will let you know what portion of the cost for therapy they will reimburse for you.

  • What type of payment do you accept?
    We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards as forms of payment. Payment is expected at the time of your appointment.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    A 24-hour notice for cancellation is required, otherwise you will be charged for the full rate of the session
  • Can I use my Flex/HSA card for payment?
    YES!! If you would like to use one of these cards, please make sure to add the number on-line when you are completing your electronic forms.
  • How do I start?
    We recommend scheduling a first session by clicking "Book Now" on any of our pages. However, if you would like to connect with one of our therapists prior to scheduling your first session, please click on "Schedule a FREE 15-min Consultation" on any of our pages to ensure that we are the right fit for you.
  • How long is the counseling process?
    The counseling process varies for each client dependent upon identified goals and objectives. Each client is treated uniquely, and the process will be addressed in session. Progress will be assessed throughout the counseling process and presented periodically.
